In 2014, Karen Betts brought the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals' (SPCP) international credential exam to the UK. After two successful examinations, the SPCP announced that the Certified Permanent Cosmetic Professional (CPCP) 2016 UK exam would once again be hosted by Karen Betts.
On average 95% of permanent cosmetics artists have passed the CPCP exam hosted by Karen Betts in the UK over the last 3 years.

In order to attend this exam you are required to be a qualified PMU artist with at least 100 hours learning and have attended, and passed, a Blood Borne Viruses Training Course within the last 2 years.
