Platinum standard training - Elite level 

Karen Betts and her team of elite trainers have poured all their knowledge, techniques and skills into this training package. It's everything they know about permanent cosmetics, and in 31 days of training plus 24 Technique and Confidence workshops, they will share it with you. 

To begin with, you will complete all the Bronze course units. This will give you a superb foundation for your studies: 

• 40 hours home study 

• Academy all-round training (5 days)

• Cosmetic artistry (1 day)

• Infection control and pain management (1 day)

• Bronze Foundation Level assessment (1 day)

Next, you will swiftly move onto Silver level training. This will provide you with the perfect skills to prepare you for your advanced Gold level training units:

• Brow experience  (2 days)

• freshMinerals make-up  (1 day)

• Shadow an Elite Artist at work (1 day) 

• Silver Experienced level assessment (1 day)

These next Gold level training units are so advanced, you will be assigned your own mentor to provide ongoing guidance and support:

• Advanced brows (1 day) 

• Advanced eyes (1 day)

• Advanced lips (1 day)

• Colour expert and correction techniques (1 day)

• Photography and portfolio (1 day)

• Correct consultation and medical issues (1 day)

• Working with the educators (3 days)

• Gold Advanced Level assessment (1 day)

After qualifying as a Gold standard technician, it’s time for your Elite classes. This is where you learn the most difficult techniques, skills and treatments. Qualify at this standard and you will become one of the Elite, an absolute master of your profession and potentially able to charge up to £700 per treatment, even receive referrals from Karen herself. 

Elite brow treatments with Karen Betts (1 day) 

Elite brow training with the woman who pioneered many of the techniques used by A-list permanent cosmetics artists today. Learn all the needles, advanced stretches, single-pass techniques and new colour blending options that Karen uses. Plus, learn the challenging OMG brow style for ultra-realistic brow results. 

Elite eye treatments with Karen Betts (1 day)

For clients who want the hottest look for eyes, there is only one word on their lips: Latino. It’s an elite look that only highly trained, elite artists should attempt. But that’s not all you will learn in this amazing class, in addition to Latino, you will learn Guyliner, French Pearl highlights and a range of other advanced techniques to complement your current treatments. Master all the needles, techniques and treatments of the pros. So what are you waiting for….learn the secrets of the Elite. 

Elite lip treatments with Karen Betts (1 day)

In this class, you will learn the most challenging permanent cosmetics lips treatments: full lip augmentation and lip treatments for male clients. Don't be fooled, these treatments require pro techniques and skills to successfully complete.  You will be taught additional techniques and needles suitable to give that pro-edge to your existing knowledge-base: we'll look at advanced stretches, new techniques for the most difficult needle configurations, working on damaged skin and so on.

Alopecia brow and eye treatments (2 days)

Clients with alopecia or other hair loss conditions can benefit hugely from permanent cosmetics. By learning the different design and technical skills required for these treatments, you can open the door on a whole new area of permanent cosmetics.This course will give you the opportunity to use your skills to positively change the lives of others, while also increasing your client base and boosting your income streams.

Medical tattoo treatments for nipple and areola (2 days) 

This unit presents the perfect opportunity to broaden your horizons even further, increase your client base and learn how you can break into the world of medical tattooing. There are many reasons why clients can require nipple and areola, or camouflage tattooing, and we will explain all the different treatments and techniques you will need to produce fantastic results. Give yourself a whole new set of skills, clients and working options with this fantastic 2 day course. 

Platinum Elite-level assessment (1 day)

Tick all the boxes on Karen and Cathy’s criteria list and you will be rewarded with the most prestigious qualification in permanent cosmetics that you can have: Nouveau Contour Elite Artist certification.

24 Technique and Confidence Days  

As an Elite standard student, you get 31 intensive days of training, plus 24 Technique and Confidence workshops. Practice makes perfect, particularly when you are learning elite techniques! You can take these days whenever you like during your time training with us.  

Marketing and support after training (ongoing)
