Gold standard training - Advanced Level

To begin with, you’ll do all the Bronze course units. This includes:

• 40 hours home study 

• Academy all-round training (5 days)

• Cosmetic artistry (1 day)

• Infection control and pain management (1 day)

• Bronze Foundation Level assessment (1 day)

After Bronze, you will swiftly move onto your Silver level training. This will provide you with the perfect skills boost to prepare you for your Gold level training units:

• Brow experience  (2 days)

• freshMinerals make-up  (1 day)

• Shadow an Elite Artist at work (1 day)

• Technique and confidence days (6 days)

• Silver Experienced Level assessment (1 day)

Once you qualify as a Silver standard technician, you will move onto our fantastic Gold level training. 

Advanced brows (1 day) 

This day is all about adding to your procedure options, learning new treatments specifically for younger clients, both male and female, who want alternatives to hairstroke brows. Each of these requires different design skills, needles and techniques. You’ll be a “brow master” in no time! 

Advanced eyes (1 day) 

Eye are usually the easier treatments to start with, but always the hardest to truly master. See your results and confidence improve as we teach you the skills required to offer a broad range of popular eyeliner treatment requests. After this class, you will  be capable of producing advanced pencil, liquid, soft shaded and two-toned eyeliner effects. We even take this a step further, by teaching you the technically challenging skill of designing and working outside of the lashes. And is that all? Not quite. We even look back to basics and teach you an advanced technique for making your lash enhancements look even more realistic. Your competition won’t stand a chance against you!

Advanced lips (1 day)

Taking your lip treatments the extra step, in this workshop we teach you the skills for achieving striking results with full lip colours. Achieving longer lasting, strong results can take years of practice, but we will teach you the secrets of the masters in just one class!  Explore the most effective pigment blends for lips, more advanced needle configurations which can reduce your treatment times, advanced techniques for applying more with fewer passes and much, much more. 

Colour expert and correction techniques (1 day) 

Take your understanding of colours and pigment blending to new levels with this essential class. Learn how to improve your colour analysis techniques, plus how to custom blend pigments for best results. Then explore the other side of colour. Explore what happens when corrections are needed, and learn new techniques for adjusting incorrect colours. 

Photography and portfolio (1 day) 

You’ll definitely need a good portfolio to boost your profile and attract new clients. Prospective clients need to be aware of just how good you are, so in this unit we explain everything from how to take a great picture, build a portfolio and even how to publicise your work online at little or no cost. 

Correct consultation and medical issues (1 day) 

A professional consultation can improve the quality of your treatments, increase client satisfaction and boost your business. This essential class will help you develop your client-consultation techniques and teach you how best to handle any client medical issues you may encounter. 

Working with the educators (3 days)

Watch and learn in these three invaluable days with the masters of permanent cosmetics, you will pick up many little tips and tricks of the trade purely through on-the-job training. 

Gold Advanced level assessment (1 day)

You will lead a consultation with a more challenging model, giving your model advanced brow, eye and lip treatments. Pass with flying colours and you will have a Gold Advanced-level certificate for your treatment room. 

Technique and confidence building (12 days)

Learning advanced techniques can be a challenge, and that’s why we provide you with 12 Technique and Confidence Building workshops. These will enable you to practice your new skills with trainers on hand to advise and assist you at every step. Whether you need to gain self-assurance on your new treatments, or want to hone your advanced techniques with the help of a trainer, these days are for you.

You will receive all the support and guidance you need both during and after your Gold advanced level training. Whether it’s our dedicated support line, comprehensive guidance manuals, or supportive workshop sessions, we are dedicated to providing everything you need to start your new career.
